Before we all go off an stuff ourselves with some Thanksgiving turkey, let's end the week with the funky cosmic jazz gem "Ghetto Jungle" by Panamanian-American saxophonist Carlos Garnett. This track was featured on the very rare 1975 album Let This Melody Ring On, which came out on Muse Records. Like much of Garnett's recordings, this composition nicely blends funky soulful grooves with a heavy sense of deep spiritualism. Enjoy!
