Here is the brilliant title track from pianist Nate Morgan's very rare and often overlooked album Retribution, Reparation. The soul jazz masterpiece is just one of the many amazing compositions featured on the 1984 Nimbus recording. The entire record has a mesmerizing modal groove throughout with touches of deep spiritualism. Even though this album came out in the mid eighties, it definitely has a sound that is more similar to the kind of releases label's like Strata-East and Black Jazz were putting out in the seventies.
