To help belatedly celebrate Joe Henderson's birthday (which was yesterday), I though today I would feature one of his many classic recordings in the funky "Las Palmas". This track was featured on the legendary tenor saxophonists' 1975 album Canyon Lady and features a solid cast of musicians including George Duke (electric piano), Luis Gasca (trumpet), Eric Gravatt (drums), and many others. Overall, one of the many great tracks that Henderson recorded for Milestone. Happy Birthday Joe, sorry I was a little late!
